We Support Respectful Workplaces

When you visit our dental office, we hope you notice the smiles and the calm, capable atmosphere. Behind that experience is workplace culture. At 22nd @ Taylor Dental Care, we believe a respectful, inclusive environment isn’t a box to tick; it’s the foundation for safe, attentive dentistry. Healthcare can be fast-paced and high-pressure; mutual respect is what keeps communication clear, problem-solving quick, and patient care consistently excellent.

A respectful workplace doesn’t happen by accident. We maintain and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination, whether interactions are among colleagues or with patients and vendors. We meet as a team daily to review the schedule, discuss concerns and recognise great work, ensuring everyone is informed and heard.

Training goes beyond clinical skills to include communication, de-escalation and cultural awareness, giving our team tools to navigate tough moments without letting stress spill into patient care. Leadership sets the tone by modelling humility, listening and openness to feedback. We also make time to connect as people—shared lunches, community volunteer days and casual celebrations build trust that shows up in the operatory. Anonymous feedback channels and regular recognition help problems surface early and good work stand out.

Addressing mistreatment is part of protecting a healthy culture. If a patient’s behaviour crosses boundaries, we set clear expectations and, when necessary, discontinue care to safeguard our team. Internally, we respond to conflict promptly and fairly, approaching conversations with the assumption of positive intent and a focus on clarity rather than blame. Hiring prioritizes attitude alongside skill, so new team members align with our values from day one.

Patients benefit directly! Friendly, attentive service is easier to deliver when people enjoy their work and feel safe. Continuity improves because a positive culture reduces turnover, so you see familiar faces who know you and your history. Team coordination is smoother when trust is high, which supports safety and comfort during procedures. Perhaps most importantly, respect extends naturally to you: we listen, explain options clearly, honour your choices, and adapt to your needs—whether that means extra time, sedation options or simple reassurance.

Declaring our support for respectful workplaces is an ongoing promise. We review policies, invest in training, and stay open to better ways of working together. If you ever have suggestions during your visits, we welcome them. A great patient experience starts with a great team experience, and we’re proud to cultivate both.
